Health and Safety Policy
The Company is guided by this Health and Safety Policy in its operations and activities. The policy is based on the desire to eliminate personal injuries and occupational illnesses by providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. The policy further seeks to protect the general public who is in contact with or affected by the Company’s activities. This policy includes establishing and maintaining an effective Health and Safety Program that is consistent with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), applicable federal, state, and local laws, and Company requirements. A continuous effort toward improved safety performance will be a primary goal for every employee.
Safety is an integral part of quality control, cost reduction, employee benefits, and job efficiency. A good safety record reflects the quality of management, supervision, and the work force, and serves to promote business, thereby contributing to the continued growth and success of the Company.
