ALSTOM | APComPower, Inc.: A Construction Management Company

The Cincinnati District territory encompasses the states of Ohio, Kentucky, the lower portion of Indiana and AEP Plants located in Virginia and West Virginia. The district office and warehouse has been recently relocated to Erlanger Kentucky, which has brought APComPower into the ALSTOM Power - Midwest Service Center, the same facility as other ALSTOM Power business units. Our primary markets have been utility maintenance and new construction.

Over the past six years our focus has been on new construction within the public utility market. Through an alliance agreement with East Kentucky Power, we have recently completed construction of Gilbert #3 a new 290 MWe CFB Boiler and bag house, and begun construction of Spurlock #4, an additional 290 MWe CFB Boiler and bag house in Maysville, Kentucky. We are also currently constructing a Wet Flue Gas Desulphurization System (WFGD) & Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (WESP) on the back end of Unit's #1 and #2 at the Spurlock site as well as planning to begin construction of Smith #1 a 290 MWe CFB outside of Lexington, Kentucky in early 2009.

The Cincinnati district has an excellent team in place to carry out our current workload and we will continue to expand and grow our market share in this and the coming years.
