ALSTOM | APComPower, Inc.: A Construction Management Company

The Chicago District covers all or part of eight states including North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. The district office and tool warehouse is centrally located in Huntley, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Within this territory, APComPower serves a diverse group of customers in the electric utility, pulp and paper, and industrial markets.

With over forty years of continuous operation the Chicago District is able to provide the services of a local contractor, while drawing on the resources of a leading national construction company. Services provided span the spectrum of emergency maintenance to large and small planned outages, installation of air quality control equipment, and the erection of new boilers. Recent accomplishments include the execution of the largest coal fired boiler retrofit project in North America, at a plant in West Olive, Michigan, and the receipt of an NMAPC Zero Recordable Injury Certificate of Merit.

To support these efforts, APComPower's Chicago District maintains an experienced staff of construction management personnel with a combined experience of over two hundred years.
